Private consultations for advisors with problematic client questions

Do you feel awkward talking with a client about diminished capacity? Did you ever wish you could just call an expert to help you figure out what to say to a difficult aging client? Clients demonstrating age-related problems can make you uncomfortable. Now there’s a way to solve this!  At AgingInvestor.com, two professionals with aging expertise can offer you just the individualized advice you need so you can best serve your aging clients. Dr. Mikol Davis, licensed psychologist with 45+ years of experience and Carolyn Rosenblatt, RN, Attorney with 50 years of combined experience in nursing and law are here to help.

What can you get in a private consultation?

You can get the undivided attention of one or both professionals at once, in a telephone consultation to help you find your way through the client problem you have. You can tell us what the difficulty is, and how it got to be there. You can ask any question you wish. We will make our best efforts to answer the questions or let you know if we can’t.

You can get advice from a licensed psychologist about what words to use with a client, and how to address conflicts with clients or their families. You can get legal pointers to help you know what you can try and what to avoid.

As an example, let’s say your client has memory loss, can’t recall your last telephone conversations and keeps asking the same thing over and over. We will ask you more, go over the warning signs with you, and show you a video illustration of how to best handle that conversation and answer any questions that come from seeing the video.

What can you NOT expect in a private consultation?

We do not offer medical advice about anyone’s client situation. We do offer healthcare information, resources and advice about where to find local help and how to make referrals to organizations your client may need.

We do not give legal advice about an individual case or legal matter. We do offer general legal information about things like financial elder abuse, what the terms mean in legal documents and the ways clients use the legal system to change the course of where things are going when an aging person is losing the ability to manage his or her own finances and safety.

 What does it cost?

There is a two-hour minimum consultation fee of $900.00. That gives you appointment access to both professionals in one-hour increments for resolving your issues, all your questions and follow up to consider what worked and if anything needed another approach.
